How We Support Lessors

Aircraft & Engine Lease Inspections

Airliner nose landing gear and engines in a hangar

On site at delivery, transition, return and mid-lease, with records and LLP review. Every photo and finding is cataloged as we go with AI-assisted tools, so you get a complete picture of the asset, fast.

Engine Shop Visit Oversight

Jet engine fan blades close up

Pre-induction records and quote review, on site for teardown and the test cell run, line-by-line workscope negotiation, TAT tracking and a final invoice audit, so the engine comes back built for its next lease.

Airframe AD/SB Compliance

Two engineers reviewing technical drawings

Applicability and compliance status review, and incorporation planning across the fleet, so AD/SB status holds up at transition and doesn't become your problem when the aircraft comes back.

MRO Commercial Advisory

We read MRO proposals and agreements from your side of the table: scope, exclusions, pricing and change-order rights, reviewed before the money is committed, not after the invoice arrives.

We also support airline technical teams with engine shop visits and airframe AD/SB work.

Why independent matters

On the Lessor's Side of the Table

KRD Aviation was founded by Karl Dufrenne, who spent his career at Delta TechOps. He started in structures engineering, implementing airworthiness directives across the 737 fleet, then managed Delta's largest engine customers ($200M in revenue under management) and negotiated PBC and T&M engine maintenance agreements. He knows how a shop builds and prices a workscope, because he sat on the shop's side of the table.

We're independent and don't take compensation from MROs or parts vendors. Our only job is protecting the asset and the lease.
